The Littles new bathroom and some!

My littles are getting a new bathroom!!! Im so excited to get started. First off, this bathroom needs alot of attention. The toilet has yellow paint on it and is way to tall for the kids to easily use, the sink is ancient and small with the ugliest brass faucet you have ever seen, the medicine cabinet/mirror is small and broken, the light in the room is dull, the walls are a funky fake drywall, something I have never seen before, the floor is 30 years old and the color and texture is evident in that and then lastly the shower. It was improperly installed by the owners before us and the plumbing is something out of a horror movie. A pvc pipe come from under the base of the shower right to the drain in the laundry room and thats supposed to go where exactly? Ok so my lovely wife and I went to Lowes and had a hay day, We got a beautiful full white vanity with white marble sink, a much larger medicine cabinet/mirror, new light bar to match. We also got new tile flooring, a new toilet, new drywall for a much needed makeover and a neo angle corner shower with glass doors!! Ok so this sounds like alot of work, right? I have some experience in renovations so that will help. It’s the shower that scares me. I got on youtube and with all the right tool and know-how I should be able to get the shower done in roughly 4-6 hours!! But the rest should be easy. I’ve installed everything else before, just need patience and time. My daughters baptism is in rougly 1 month, so I have about 4 weeks to get this complete. I go back out of town next week to Denver but im getting started now to get that much needed jump start. Oh ya and Little Baylor is getting a room makeover as well. Basically what you saw in Houstons room with the border I will be doing that same setup in B’s room. He is getting a decorative border around all walls, new quater round and new paint from floor to ceiling. His theme will remain Mickey Mouse. Can’t wait to post before and after picture of it all. For Tye, we just ordered new carpet for his room. We installed a black tile for him to match his batman theme room but it tends to get cold and well, it’s tile so its hard. His carpet will be installed this week and he is excited. As for Houston and Austin, there rooms are complete. We will get austin some curtins to match his sports theme but thats really all he needs. Omaha to Denver

Heading to denver for a little training session for my job. I couldnt be more thrilled about getting there. At the same time I couldnt miss my family more than I do now. It was near impossible to kiss my kids good night last night knowing I will not be able to hold them until thrusday night later this week. Jennyie went and got me a web cam to use on my computer so we could see eachother and I could see the kids, so that will be great. I have school work that needs to be done so after work hours that kinda my plan. Sounds as though my boss that I am traveling with likes to have a good time so there might be some interesting times. Well here comes my plane. I am off. Wish me luck,
